About Teaching Leaders Teaching Leaders is a ground-breaking initiative specifically designed to measurably raise levels of pupil achievement in challenging schools by developing a cadre of highly motivated, inspirational Middle Leaders – heads of department, heads of year and other whole-school roles. The programme has been developed in partnership with four of the UK’s most forward thinking organisations: Absolute Return for Kids (ARK), the National College (NCSL), Teach First and Future Leaders. The programme takes talented Middle Leaders on a two-year journey where they are provided intensive training and coaching, and are supported in leading challenging improvement initiatives in their school. The programme launched with its first cohort in August 2008 and now has 300 participants and alumni, across 148 schools nationally.

Core Programme Manager
Are you a project manager or education professional looking to develop team leadership and programme management skills while working towards improving the life chances of students in challenging schools? Why not join our exciting, dynamic and growing organisation at Teaching Leaders. We are looking to recruit a Core Programme Manager to lead our 2012 cohort programme delivery team in London.
We’re keen to hear from a range of candidates, including those who have project and line management experience to those with a background in teaching/the education sector.
We are looking for candidates who can contribute their passion, energy and creativity to our team and who can commit to the role for 2 ½ years.

In your Cover Letter, please reference why you want to work in the non-profit/education sector and how your previous experience is relevant to this role.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a first-round interview in London on Wednesday, 29th February, Thursday, 1st March or Friday, 2nd March.
Candidates who are successful at the interview stage will be invited to a final Assessment Centre in London on Thursday, 8th March.
