Pearson Education is the world's largest educational publisher and part of Pearson Plc. Pearson has kindly established the Pearson Excellence Awards for Teaching Leaders, with £11k worth of prizes. All participants at the end of their first year will be eligible to apply for this award, which will be judged by an independent panel. The judging panel will look at a wide range of criteria reflecting both the quality of the thinking behind and execution of the initiatives, as well as their impact on the staff and pupils within their school.
In addition, Pearson will be offering free access to many of its online materials to participants during their tenure on the programme, effective from April 1st. Finally, we will be looking at innovative ways for participants in our programmes to share experiences of leadership with talented middle-leaders within Pearson and in a variety of our organisations, as part of our commitment to seek leadership perspectives from a wide variety of sectors.
