Teach First
Teach First's mission is to address educational disadvantage by transforming exceptional graduates into effective, inspirational teachers and leaders in all fields.
The registered charity delivers a two-year programme of teaching and leadership development aimed at raising the aspirations and achievements of students in challenging schools, whilst also developing the leadership capabilities of the graduates involved. Having completed their initial two years of teaching, graduates either continue in teaching or move into another sector. All of them remain committed to addressing educational disadvantage and continuing their progression as socially-responsible leaders through the Teach First Ambassador scheme.
Teach First is supported by the government, all major political parties, the head teachers' and teaching unions, and a host of high-profile corporate, public sector and charity organisations.

Future Leaders

After a year-long apprenticeship under a successful urban head, with innovative UK and US-based training, coaching and mentoring from education and business leaders, Future Leaders participants should gain a senior leadership role after 12 months and be working towards headship within four years.
